Top things to do in Liverpool: Aintree Race Course
Aintree Race Course
Following on from a £35 million redevelopment project, Aintree now has two new Grandstands (The Earl of Derby and The Lord Sefton Stands), a new Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure and the fantastic Aintree Pavilion, offering a first class racing experience for the 21st century spectator.
Aintree hosts an additional four racedays a year and as well as being a successful conference and events venue, Aintree houses the longest nine-hole golf course in the country nestled within the Grand National course - a true test for any golfer. Visitors eager to sample the magic of Aintree and the Grand National meeting at any other time of the year can do so by visiting Aintree’s visitor centre, open May - October.
